| DURABLE
Made of heavy-wall 6005-T5 aluminum, this Type 1A ladder series is four to five times more durable than ordinary ladders. While it possesses a workload rated capacity of 300 pounds, it has been tested to withstand four times that amount without structural failure.
Versatile Independent tests conclude the Type 1A will replace approximately 60-70% of all portable ladders currently being manufactured. For instance, the model 22 replaces five different size "A" frames ladders, nine different size extension ladders, two scaffolding trestles with five heights, ten staircase ladders (for working on uneven surfaces) and four 90 degree ladders (for getting closer to walls and etc.). In fact, it would take nearly $800 in ordinary ladders to replace the capabilities of the Model 22 Little Giant. Even then, you would still lack the versatility, durability, and storage benefits of the Little Giant. Most of the models also come with a set of wheels for you to easily roll your ladder across the floor (except for model 13).
Compact Storage Unbelievably, the Type 1A ladders stores in just 1.09m - 1.83m of space (depending on model), and weighs between 11.79kg - 24.49kg. The Type 1A's adjustable design allows it to be safely used on stairs, ramps, curbs, docks, or other uneven surfaces. |
